Arrival, departure, and travel

Travel and Practical Details

Arrive Thursday, October 8 between 2:00–5:00 PM. Welcome dinner begins at 6:00 PM. The closing circle begins Sunday, October 11 at 12:00 PM. Portland International Airport is approximately 75 minutes away by car. Please plan flights with room for the full shared arc.

Arrival: Thursday, October 8, between 3:00 and 5:30 PM. Departure: Sunday, October 11, by noon.

Trout Creek Wilderness Lodge sits in the Molalla River watershed, Oregon. Portland International Airport is approximately 75 minutes away by car; carpools and airport transportation will be coordinated after RSVPs are received.

Cell reception and internet may be limited, so please plan to be largely offline. Tell Chel about mobility, sensory, dietary, medical, lodging, or other access needs so hospitality can be planned thoughtfully.

ARRIVING AT TROUT CREEK

A simple place to land

Cabins are nestled into the trees with the essentials for rest close at hand. Let the place do some of the welcoming before the gathering begins.

Lodging

Council Members and facilitators are guests of Cure + Era for the full gathering, and their three-night stay is gifted. Accommodations may include private or shared cabins, tiny homes, or bell tents, depending on availability and individual needs.

Accommodation assignments, check-in instructions, and bathhouse details will be shared with confirmed participants as arrangements are finalized.

Transportation coordination

Airport pickups, carpools, parking, and Sunday return transportation will be coordinated after RSVPs are received. The property address and final driving directions will be shared privately with confirmed participants.

Meals and dietary needs

Meals are provided from Thursday’s welcome dinner through Sunday breakfast. Please share allergies, dietary restrictions, food access needs, and other requests in your RSVP so the menu can be planned with care.

Childcare

If bringing a child makes participation possible, please let us know. We will work with you to create thoughtful arrangements that support both your family and the Council.

What to bring

□ Journal, pen, personal medications, and toiletries
□ One small offering for the land or shared altar

Accessibility and sensory needs

Please tell Chel about mobility, access, medical, sensory, or accommodation needs as early as possible. The property includes uneven terrain and variable outdoor conditions; we will share clearer site information and work with each participant to plan thoughtfully.

Connectivity and unplugging

Cell reception and internet may be limited. We invite participants to plan for a largely offline weekend, while making space for essential responsibilities, care needs, and necessary contact with home.
